It's been almost a month since I shot all of these, even some of the details are a blur to me.
Nevertheless, seeing how I haven't updated in a while (work has increased a lot), I thought I'd show you some shots I took on a road trip down to Kuala Selangor (minus the witty comments and writing. 4 hours of sleep kills me).
Me and my dad left around 10a.m. On the way there, we stopped by a bona fide fishing village...
... with a temple...
... protected by stone lions...
Ever wondered how you're favourite keropok snacks are made? Probably like this.
Ingredients processed and dried out in the sun like that. Its surprising that there were no flies!
After a somewhat disappointing lunch, we headed up Bukit Melawati on a tram.
There were plenty of monkeys up there.
Its also a pretty lucrative business to sell long beans to tourists as food for the monkeys (even the ice-cream man was selling them). There was even a safari-rodeo-dude guy up there (probably the local expert on monkeys?)
That's him right behind. Not the first 3 hairy things.
It's all clear to me now. Long beans get turned to milk in monkeys.
Oh, and there was a cat too.
