So I'm caught up with cooking, reading 2kg textbooks and all, but I thought I post up some pics from my last visit with my family to New Famosa.
Yup, if I visited AND blogged about the same place twice, it's that good.
Rice cooked in a (fake) bamboo trunk. No fragrance whatsoever, but hey, its rice!
Boiled yam coated with melted hot caramel with sesame seeds, then dunked into cold water to cool and harden. One of the best desserts I've had so far, even though I dislike yams. Kudos for its creativity and how they serve it in front of your table!
