33: College

Yup, I've been bust the past week or so with college. We had a 3 day long orientation last week, and today was my first class of the term. I wasn't really used to it for the first week, because on the second day I just came home and slept all the way for 13 hours straight without eating. I seem to be missing more meals now that I've start college. No wonder they say college is when you start loosing weight.

Anywhoo, I made a lot of friends (all really good people by the way). I took a few pics with my phone, but it all came out blur since I was rushing.

Today was the first day of actual classes but I still have a lot more things to sort out. Which sucks actually. But I really enjoyed myself. I mean, how can baking for the first class at 8.30 a.m. not be fun (don't take it sarcastically, it really is)? A couple of funny results, but all the cakes we served in the college restaurant! After that, we had a Sensology class under Applied Technology. I could say it's a cross between psychology and food science. We learned (and tasted) various foodstuffs, marking down the texture, taste and so forth. The only horrible part of it was probably tasting a raw bitter gourd.

Really, I learned a lot today. If it wasn't for the semi-long walk home, I would have typed more, but let's just leave it like that for today.

Oh, let me tell a inside joke. My program is called Baccalaureat Technologique Hotellerie, or BTH. Hokkien people (or people who understand Hokkien) would say, "BTH? Bei ta han la."
