Today, Matt decided to come over and study, but I told him I'd follow him out instead. Off to Starbucks! After purchasing a big mug of coffee and orange juice, we sat down there and just did work from 10.30 a.m. till 2 p.m. . Yup, we were making the best out of the money spent on just 2 refreshments.
Matt told me he'd bring me to a "hot" Taiwanese eatery in 1 Utama, so, why not? Located near TGV cinema, is a really small restaurant called Shih Lin Taiwanese Street Snacks. Sporting a really small menu, not enough leg room for people with tall statures, not enough tables, but a hellu'va lotta people. We had the oyster Mee Sua and the store's famous fried chicken. Even though I'm not a fan of Mee Sua, the never seen before noodles (maybe) and the gooey soup was a insta-win with me. The fried chicken was really good too. My only gripe was that the expressions of the people serving you was sour enough to curdle milk. And yes, I didn't bring a camera along, only a bag full of workbooks.
When I got home, my dad told me about these weird mushrooms that were growing out of a pot where he was growing some chilli. It was kinda gross looking.
